" There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you. "

The Expressive Journalling Workshop

Expressive journalling is a free flowing way of putting thoughts (and emotions) onto paper and can take you on a journey of self-discovery. That journey can sometimes be a little uncharted and that’s completely okay, in fact, it’s often an important part of the healing process.

Expressive journalling is more about the act of taking what’s on your heart and mind and putting it down on paper and less about following any conventions of what good writing should be. It’s a way to deal with your emotions and thoughts in a way that lets you explore their meaning without having to deeply analyse them.

This workshop explores writing as a form of healing, allowing you to debunk your own limiting beliefs. We will look at ways in which you can start familiarising yourself with the daily practice of writing, so that you can begin to uncover your own story.

You don’t have to have any experience with writing in the past, you don’t need to have any stories bursting inside of you, waiting to come to life. All you need is the desire to take some time to get to know yourself better and to truly put yourself first for the duration of the workshop. Each workshop puts you at the centre and gives you the room to be completely indulgent in this “me time” space.

The cost of the workshop is R650, which includes coffee / tea and a light snack during the break. The duration of the workshop is approximately 3½ hours.

If you're in need of some 'me time' to focus on yourself, then come join me and let's start to uncover part of your story.
